滇西北是我国新构造运动强烈的地区之一,这里的断裂十分发育,许多断裂第四纪以来都有活动,剑川断裂是其中一条重要的活动断裂,它对滇西北的新构造运动与地震活动有着明显的控制作用。为了探讨新构造运动的特点及其与地震的关系,笔者在袁复礼教授的指导下,与我院地震地质专业部分师生一起,于1981年和1982年,对剑川地区的地貌、第四纪地层、活动断层及地震活动分别作了较为详细的专题研究。目前这一研究课题正在进行之中,现将我们对剑川断裂新活动研究的部分结果整理成文,作为学生献给老师九十寿辰的贺礼。
Northwest Yunnan is one of the areas with strong neotectonic movement in China. The faults here are well developed. Many fractures have been active since the Quaternary. The Jianchuan fault is one of the important active faults. It is of great importance to the Neotectonic movement and earthquake in the northwestern Yunnan Activities have a clear control. In order to explore the characteristics of neotectonic movement and its relationship with earthquakes, under the guidance of Prof. Yuan Fuli and some teachers and students of earthquake geology specialty in our institute, in 1981 and 1982, Strata, active faults and seismic activities were made more detailed research. At present, this research project is under way. Now we have written some of the results of the study on the new activities in the Jianchuan Fault as a gift to the 90th birthday of the teacher.
