Do blogs need “gatekeepers”? This does not seem to be a problem, but more and more it becomes a problem. To say that it is not a problem is because after the advent of the blog, the right of distribution of information is no longer just in the hands of a small part of the media. The blog gives the majority of civilians the right to speak. Every netizen can quickly and easily create his own online space, publish any content in any form for the sharing and exchange of information, without intermediate steps and without any control. It is precisely because of this, the blog only has a vibrant vitality. Some people say that one in forty people in the world has set up their own blog; statistics show that since March 2005, the number of global blogs has tripled.
