引言诊断测试是在制作新设计方案时进行的一种测试。一个4096单元随机存储器芯片上的MOS管数超过13,000个,而只有22条引线的封装,然而用诊断测试就能实现对这样的芯片存取数并检验这些器件的功能是否适当。更复杂的情况是一个新的设计常常会出现在通常的电压范围内不能工作,怎样来确定这究竟是芯片上的电路问题还是器件的问题呢?这就需要进行诊断测试。为进行诊断测试,必须有正确的测试设备和适当的用法以及测试顺序。测试设备包括:存储器检验器、出错显示设备、显微探针台。
