以木薯、木瓜的叶片为饲料,在室温(25-28℃)条件下通过对朱砂叶螨的饲养和生命活动观察而组建了其室内种群生命表,并计算其内禀增长率及其它种群特征参数。在木薯和木瓜上,朱砂叶螨的内禀增长率(rm)分别为0.2576和0.2985,周限增长率(λ)分别为1.2938和1.3479,净增殖率分别为26.3870和24.0208,世代平均历期(T)分别为13.2920天和11.1739天,种群加倍时间(t)分别为2.6908天和2.3221天;在稳定年龄组配中,未成熟期所占比例分别为90.9271%和91.8514%,成熟期所占比例分别为9.0735%和8.1546%。从生命表中可看出,木薯和木瓜是朱砂叶螨的适宜寄主,在两寄主上,朱砂叶螨具有较大的种群发展潜力。

As can be seen from the life table, cassava and papaya are suitable hosts for Tetranychus cinnabarinus, and Tetranychus cinnabarinus has greater potential for population development on both hosts.
