苗床建制紫薇喜光耐半阴,喜肥沃沙质土壤,耐旱怕涝,所以应选富含腐殖质的高床。床高出地面15～25厘米,宽1～1.5米,为便于管理,床长小于50米,床间设40～50厘米步道。扦插前10～15天必须对土壤进行消毒处理,每平方米可用福尔马林50毫升(对水6～12升)或2～3％的硫酸亚铁溶液9～10升或50％多菌灵1000～1500倍液喷洒床面,用塑料布覆盖,闷1～2周后掀开,灌透水。
