我局花牌坊煤矿在软岩层和半煤岩中掘进巷道,曾用过一段时间煤电钻侧式供水装置来解决湿式钻孔。由于侧式供水装置漏水而严重地影响着工人的操作,因而使用不久就被停用了,为解决漏水问题对原侧式供水装置加以改进,改进后效果良好。侧式供水装置结构如图,压力水由进水管12进入水套左右各两个胶密封圈5的中间,再经内套2上的4个Φ8mm 的孔流入空心钻杆实现湿式钻孔(钻杆可采用六方中空钢)。钻尾10直接插入煤电钻的钎尾套中(钻尾可用麻花钻杆改制而成)。
