I. INTRODUCTION Generally, the wall thickness sensitivity of compacted graphite cast iron in thick-walled parts is good, but there is almost no reported wall thickness sensitivity of thin-walled parts below 5 mm. Experience has shown that when compacted with compacted graphite cast iron thin-walled pieces, to encounter the material instability caused by poor wall thickness, that is, at the thin-walled and thick wall at the graphite shape difference.
