The traditional mobile formwork (MSS) hole-by-hole construction technology has become the preferred method for the construction of small and medium-span continuous beams in plain areas because of its characteristics such as the stress in the construction stage and the force of bridge construction, high automation, continuity and integrity. However, it is difficult to promote in mountainous expressways with complicated terrain, inconvenient transportation and not spacious construction site. Based on the continuous girder bridges of a mountainous highway in Jiangxi Province, this paper introduces a block-by-hole construction method using Bere truss as the movable mold base. The analysis shows that this method has the advantages of less equipment, simple and flexible construction and better economy Advantages, in the mountain highway to promote the application of practical significance.
