对磁光盘高密度记录来讲,我们已经研究了一种新方法,即使用GdFeCo读出层和DyFeCo记录层所组成的一种介质未增强表面上的光分辨率。被设计的读出层的磁化方向,在室温时是平面的,而在高温时变成垂直取向。所以这种介质只有在读出光束加热区域才有极性克尔角效应。其它区域则由于平面磁化方向而被屏蔽掉了。使用这种介质发现,读出束斑点中心的位不会与相邻位发出串扰。计算了以上高分辨率读出方法的函数,和通过对磁光性质的研究是相一致的。
For high-density recording of magneto-optical disks, we have investigated a new method that uses a medium consisting of a GdFeCo readout layer and a DyFeCo recording layer without enhancing the light resolution on the surface. The magnetization direction of the readout layer designed is planar at room temperature and vertically oriented at high temperatures. This medium therefore has a polar Kerr effect only in the area where the beam is read out. Other areas are masked by the plane magnetization direction. Using this medium, it has been found that reading bits at the center of a beam spot does not cause crosstalk with adjacent bits. Calculating the above function of the high-resolution readout method is consistent with the study of the magneto-optical properties.
