初轧机主电机从电控和保护的需要考虑,在电机的非传动轴端装有测速发电机和超速保护装置。由主电机测速发电机和电控系统所组成的工作系统要求协调、平稳,为此测速装置的机械传动装置应运转平稳、工作可靠;主电机转子在正反转过程中要求测速发电机转轴与主电机转轴同步运转;还应适应主电机轴在运转中的轴向串动。由于原测速装置的机械传动装置(见图1)的设计不能满足上述要求,如接轴(轴1)与主电机转轴之间采用弹性圈
