翼状胬肉的病因至今尚无定论:有人认为是炎症过程;有人认为是成纤维细胞增生后的原发性角膜变性;还有人认为是弹力纤维发育异常而产生的弹力纤维变性所致。作者研究证明了翼状胬肉的病因有免疫学机制。作者对26例患者手术切除的胬肉组织用直接免疫荧光法进行了研究。先将切除的胬肉在-20℃贮存,冷冻切片厚度6μm。用直接免疫荧光法测定胬肉组织中的lgG、lgE、IgA和IgM。切片在波长为300—450nm的紫外线显微镜
The etiology of pterygium has so far been inconclusive: Some people think that is the inflammatory process; some people think that primary fibroblast proliferation of primary corneal degeneration; there are people think that the development of elastic fibers caused by the elastic fiber degeneration.
