A new coupling technique called micro-prism coupling technology is proposed, which can effectively pump laser diode light into double-clad fiber. This technique is simple and has almost no damage to the fiber itself. The principle and specific use of the micro-prism coupling are introduced. The theoretical coupling efficiency is about 90%. Through the analysis, the light source is put forward corresponding requirements, and pointed out its scope of application
