In order to further study its morphological characteristics, 456-subscript electric lamp fish (body length range 6.0-8.8 cm) collected from the outer waters of South Shetland Islands were used to study the morphological characteristics of otolith Otolith morphology analysis and discrimination.According to the morphological characteristics of sub-Antarctic electric fish otoliths is divided into four types, and the use of elliptic Fourier analysis to characterize the characteristics of the otolith 77 77 Fourier coefficients were analyzed. Results The results showed that the most significant and least significant Fourier characteristic coefficients of the four types of otoliths were 61% and 28.6% of the total, respectively. For the 77 Fourier coefficients, the principal component analysis Twenty-two principal components explained 76.6% of the total variance; 17 Fourier coefficients were selected for discriminant analysis to establish the discriminant function, the overall discriminant rate was 87.2%; and the outline of the otolith reconstructed from the ellipse Fourier analysis reflected 4 The types of otoliths: The four types of otoliths occur in sub-Antarctic electric fish of different body length and body weight, indicating that the types of otoliths are random and the types of otoliths are not consistent, indicating that the types of otoliths Shape is different. Among the four types of otoliths, type Ⅰ and type Ⅱ accounted for 72.6% of the total, which was the main form of otoliths of sub-Antarctic electric lamp fish. Type Ⅲ and Ⅳ accounted for 27.4% of the total, which was the secondary form.
