研究2吨以上锻锤垫木的应用问题是一个具有普遍意义的课题,其主要内容有:一,垫木材种的选用及其物理、力学性能;二,含水率对垫木开裂变形性能的影响;三,垫木材质要求及木材主要疵病对强度的影响。据《动力机器基础设计规程》(草案)(以下简称《规程》)规定:用于2吨以上锻锤垫木的材料,须采用柞木或水曲柳。木材计算强度指标:横纹承压力30公斤/厘米~2;横压弹性模量为5000公斤/厘米~2。垫木绝对含水率不大于20~25%;垫木材质要求应为一级品。
