中国画艺术肌理材质的创造性应用,是通过不断突破传统国画中手绘的笔痕墨迹等肌理模式的束缚,转而创造出综合材料的实物质感来强化肌理的视觉感知。特别是非描绘性的现成品材质的实验性应用,不仅扩展了传统笔墨肌理的形态,也使中国画肌理元素的表达具有了更丰富完整的感性样式,从而演绎出全新的肌理材料异质物化的形态表达(实际上是寻找一种能表达现代人精神和情感的媒介载体)。同时,中国画肌理元素附着于综合材料实物上,而自行寻找着凹凸班驳的材质美感,使材质视觉符号成为现代中国画形式创新的重要组成部分。
