Our memories are closely linked with the emotions when memories form. For example, some memories are unpleasant memories that are unwilling to recall, while others are very happy memories that are very much like to be recalled repeatedly. For example, resentment can be frustrated if you visit again and again where we experienced very bad experiences. However, a very pleasant experience ensued in the same place, and the unhappy memories associated with the place slowly faded, replaced by the happy memories later experienced, that is, happy memories would replace the painful memories. But how does such a change happen in the brain? We do not know anything about it.
