近十余年来,由于在昆虫生理、毒理、病理、辐射不育、化学不育、天敌释放、引诱剂与激素利用以及遣传防治等害虫防治新技术的研究与实施,促使人工饲料研究迅速发展。目前约有七百余种昆虫可以应用人工饲料进行繁殖,并且有的种类已达到大量饲养的实用阶段。木毒蛾(Lymantria xylina Swinhoe)是福建省沿海木麻黄防护林的一种重要害虫,它能被核多角体病毒所感染,并达到很高的死亡率。为了人工大量的生产病毒进行大面积防治,需要用人工饲料饲育大量的木毒蛾幼虫。自1978年以来我们进行了木毒蛾人工饲料的研究工作,配制了11种配方,进行20余次饲养试验,初步筛选了三种对木毒蛾幼虫生长发育良好的人工饲料,为病毒生产提供了虫源,现将试验结果报告如下。
