我们知道,英语有主动和被动两种语态,说话人可以根据自己侧重点的不同,而选择其中的一种语态来表达自己的思想感情,也就是说从语法上讲,两种语态可以互换使用。但实际的语言运用却突破了语法规则的种种限制,就语态而言,并不是所有的主动语态都能转变为被动语态。下面几种情况就限制了被动语态的使用,而只能用主动语态来表示。
