对无缝钢管热穿孔顶头的失效机制和使用状况进行了分析论述，认为穿孔顶头的失效形式主要表现为顶头塌鼻、粘钢、开裂。对过去提高顶头寿命的工作作了简介，提出开展稀土铝合金化提高顶头使用寿命的研究。
The failure mechanism of the hot piercing head of the seamless steel pipe and the condition of its use are analyzed and discussed. The failure modes of the piercing piercing head are mainly manifested as collapse of nose, sticking of steel and cracking. In the past to improve the life of the head of the work made a briefing on the development of rare earth aluminum alloy head to improve the life of the study.
