本文给出了中国大陆及附近地区大地震重现于活跃期的周期是近似地服从数学期望,m=39.5月,σ=3.3月(σ~2——方差)的正态分布律,而重现的量级序列可近似地被一个非齐次(或非均匀)的马尔科夫链所描述.
This paper shows that the recurrence period of major earthquakes in the Chinese mainland and its vicinity is approximately normal to the mathematical expectation, m = 39.5 months, σ = 3.3 months (σ ~ 2-variance) The present order of magnitude can be approximated by a nonhomogeneous (or non-uniform) Markov chain.
