Objective: To investigate the expression level and significance of ASPP2 in postoperative esophageal cancer patients, and to verify the feasibility of ASPP2 in the evaluation of postoperative efficacy of esophageal cancer. To explore the molecular mechanism of ASPP2 in the process of esophageal cancer tissue transformation, the relationship between ASPP2 expression and the therapeutic effect of esophageal cancer patients. Methods: The expressions of ASPP2 and P53 in 45 esophageal carcinomas, 20 esophageal benign tumors and 20 normal esophageal tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry. To further analyze the relationship between the expression of ASPP2 and P53 and clinicopathological characteristics of esophageal cancer. Spearman rank correlation method was used to analyze the correlation between the expression levels of ASPP2 and P53. Results: The expression levels of ASPP2 and P53 in the three groups of specimens were significantly lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusions: The expression of ASPP2 in esophageal carcinoma significantly decreased and the level of P53 was significantly increased. The expression of ASPP2 and P53 was related to the diameter invasion and lymph node metastasis of esophageal carcinoma. The abnormal expression of ASPP2 and P53 was an important factor in the occurrence and development of esophageal carcinoma. ASPP2 was To determine the better indicators of postoperative efficacy of esophageal cancer.
