随着文化交流的不断深入,越来越多的境外物来到中国。电影作为一种雅俗共赏的大众传媒方式,正以它势不可挡的魅力征服着具有不同文化背景的消费群体。对于那些外来影片,中国的观众以自己特有的文化品味来对它们进行诠释。且不论电影本身的翻译,只看那些多被译为四字或五字的国外影片名的中文译名,就知道,我国的诗词创作理论对这些片名的翻译产生了很大的影响。本文搜集了几十部经典影片的中文译名,拟从三个角度来探讨之所以多采用四字或五字来作为译名的原因,从而阐述古文论对其的影响。这三个角度分别是:音律、意象及情趣。
With the deepening of cultural exchanges, more and more foreign objects come to China. As an elegant and popular film and television media, the film is using its irresistible charm to conquer the consumer groups with different cultural backgrounds. For those foreign films, Chinese audiences interpret them with their own unique cultural tastes. Regardless of the translation of the film itself, only the Chinese translations of foreign film titles that have been translated into four or five characters, we can see that the theory of Chinese poetry writing has a great influence on the translation of these titles. This article collected dozens of classic Chinese translation of the film, from three angles to explore the reason why the more use of four-character or five-character as the reason for the translation, thus elaborating the influence of ancient theory. These three angles are: temperament, image and taste.
