介质谐振振荡器(DRO)是由陶瓷谐振器加以稳定的微波振荡器。它重量轻、便宜、非常适合现代的微波集成电路,并有许多用途,如数字无线电通讯、卫星电视、雷达信标和多普勒脉冲转发器等。它成了普通晶体振荡器和空腔稳定振荡器有吸引力的替代器件。DRO覆盖的频率范围从低于4GHz到大约16GHz,并且将来非常可能再扩大。它作为低成本稳定的微波信号源,应用也必定会不断增多。
Dielectric Resonant Oscillators (DROs) are microwave oscillators that are stabilized by ceramic resonators. It is lightweight and inexpensive, making it ideal for modern microwave integrated circuits and has many uses such as digital radios, satellite television, radar beacons and Doppler pulse transponders. It is an attractive replacement for normal crystal oscillators and cavity-stabilized oscillators. The DRO covers a frequency range from under 4 GHz to about 16 GHz and is very likely to expand again in the future. As a low-cost and stable microwave signal source, the application will definitely increase.
