In 2002, China’s Yearbook of Publication published an enlargement of the capitalization and increased the length of its space by 2 million words and collected many readable articles. Under the column of “Cultural Relics and Historical Materials”, an article entitled “A Historical Survey of Property Rights Promotion of Publishing Institutions in Modern China” (by Wang Yi Fang, hereinafter referred to as “study”), investigated the life bookstore and caught my attention. About 5,000 words in the full text of the study, and about 500 words in the life bookstore, in the 500 words, the author imposes on the life bookstore a historical fact that I do not think exists.
