搅拌摩擦焊是铝基复合材料首选的焊接方法。这是一种固态焊接方法,可以防止熔焊中形成的金属间化合物导致力学性能下降。搅拌摩擦焊最主要的问题是搅拌针的磨损。磨损是由于搅拌针与复合材料中硬质增强相长期接触而造成的。本文综述了不同搅拌摩擦焊参数对搅拌针磨损的影响。研究发现,搅拌针的材料磨损量与搅拌针的转速和焊接长度呈正比,与行进速度呈反比。搅拌针的几何形状也与磨损量密切相关。搅拌针甚至可以转变成自优化形状以减小磨损。
Friction stir welding is the preferred method of welding aluminum matrix composites. This is a solid state welding method that prevents the formation of intermetallic compounds in the weld resulting in a decrease in mechanical properties. The main problem of friction stir welding is the wear of the stirring needle. Abrasion is caused by long-term contact between the pin and the rigid reinforcement in the composite. This article summarizes the effect of different friction stir welding parameters on the wear of the pin. It was found that the amount of material wear on the pin is proportional to the speed and length of the pin and inversely proportional to the speed of travel. The geometry of the pin is also closely related to the amount of wear. The pin can even be transformed into a self-optimizing shape to reduce wear.
