54422钛合金具有高强度、高韧性、高淬透性和良好的塑性,还有宽的热加工温度范围、良好的热稳定性以及低的超塑性温度和高的超塑性延伸率。本文介绍这种合金的特点、基本性能及高温下的热稳定性。它的性能比Ti-6Al-4V(TC_4)合金优越,有的性能已超过美国最新型的钛合金Ti-17的数据。耐热性相当于5621 S、IMI 679、BT9和TC9等钛合金。它不仅是宇航工业中的优良结构材料,而且也是石油、化工、医疗器械的良好耐蚀材料,是很有发展前途的α+β型钛合金。
