78年春我校金属材料及强度研究室与石家庄拖拉机厂、株州内燃机配件厂、西安汽车配件厂协作,开始了这项研究工作。问题的提出是由于:72年某厂发生中频淬水、单面渗碳的肖子内孔开裂,打坏柴油机的严重事故,损坏柴油机达248台。面对这种情况,他们决心攻克活塞肖质量难关,经过研究,提出了双面渗碳的强化方法,使活塞肖形成有利的残余压应力,以提高内孔的疲劳性能,防止肖子内孔开裂。
In the spring of 1978, the research department of metal materials and strength of our school started the research work in cooperation with Shijiazhuang Tractor Factory, Zhuzhou Internal Combustion Engine Parts Factory and Xi’an Auto Parts Factory. The problem is raised because: 72 years in a factory IF quenching, one-side carburizing Xiao Zi hole cracking, damaging diesel serious accident, damaging 248 diesel engines. In the face of this situation, they are determined to overcome the difficult quality of Pistons. After researching the two-sided carburization strengthening method, the piston Shaw forms a favorable residual compressive stress to improve the fatigue performance of the inner bore and prevent the cracking of the borehole .
