Yedang No. 13, a combination of 340 × 478, Laizhou Corn Institute was bred in 1987, a new combination. In 1988, the trial performance in Hubei, Henan, Beijing and Southwest Shandong increased significantly. Trial production of two summer sowing plots (June 14-15) in Laizhou Corn Research Institute in 1988 witnessed a yield of 1008.88 kg and 945.36
