This article discusses the following three issues: First, the basic conditions of trade in Asia and the Pacific; second, the status and role of trade in labor-intensive products in the Asia-Pacific trade structure; and third, the future development of trade in Asia and the Pacific, especially the trade in labor-intensive products trend.
