To observe the protective effect of a new PAF receptor antagonist BN50739 on early reperfusion arrhythmia in SD rat model of myocardial ischemia reperfusion and to explore the significance of PAF in the mechanism of early reperfusion arrhythmia. The results showed that: BN50739 can reduce the premature ventricular reperfusion injury, ventricular tachycardia, the incidence of ventricular fibrillation, ventricular fibrillation incidence compared with the control group significantly (P <0.01). BN50739 also shortened ventricular tachycardia + ventricular fibrillation time and total arrhythmia time (P <0.05), and decreased the number of rat deaths caused by VF (P <0.05). BN50739 confirmed that rats with early reperfusion arrhythmias have a protective effect, suggesting that PAF plays an important role in the early reperfusion arrhythmia.
