The geological background of the Jinshajiang metamorphic complex in Dongchuan, Yunnan Province is introduced. The petrological and petrochemical characteristics of the metamorphic complex are analyzed in detail. The original rocks of the albite schist and the shallow metamorphic volcanic rocks are identified as fine bitumen, It can be compared with the Na-Pb volcanic rocks of the Lower Proterozoic Hekou Group. It is a basement metamorphic series of the Kunyang Group strata, and its exposure may be the result of multi-level crustal extensional detachment of the crust. This study provides the basis for further exploration on the evolution of geological structure in this area The factual basis.
