虽然西方国家对术语学的发展曾作出重大贡献，但他们的成就主要限于工业产品的术语。比较起来，中国在基础科学的术语方面已经积累了丰富的经验，而指称自然现象的基本术语要远比描述按既定规格制造的工业产品的名称难于处理。但长期以来中国的术语国家标准基本是按照ＩＳＯ／ＴＣ 准备的稿件来制订的。在本文中，作者除了对ＩＳＯ／ ＤＩＳ ７０４ 提出了一些意见之外，特别强调应将我国的经验融入我国将制订的新标准中，并应做到将一切示例本地化，以利我国广大术语工作者的理解和遵循，因为他们才是本文件的最终读者。
Although Western countries have made a significant contribution to the development of terminology, their achievements have mainly been limited to the terminology of industrial products. By comparison, China has accumulated rich experience in terms of basic science, and the basic terms that refer to natural phenomena are far more difficult to describe than the names of industrial products manufactured according to established specifications. For a long time, however, China’s national standards have been basically formulated according to the manuscripts prepared by ISO / TC. In this paper, besides giving some comments on ISO / DIS 704, the author especially emphasizes that our experience should be integrated into the new standard that China will formulate and that all examples should be localized so as to facilitate the general work of terminology in our country Who understand and follow because they are the ultimate readers of this document.
