精密机械传动研究在长春光机所内,是从1961年开始的,当时所内开展了大型光学工程仪器的研制工作,这类仪器的精度高、工作要求平稳、噪声低、振动小,从而对其中的精密齿轮传动系统的设计计算以及精密齿轮的研制,提出了很高的要求,成为当时的关键技术之一。因此建立了一个精密齿轮和齿轮传动研究室,室内设置了齿轮传动设计,精密齿轮切齿工艺,精密齿轮磨齿工艺和齿轮精度检测四个方面的研究课题组。前五年,通过对国外样品的分析,逐渐熟悉和掌握了精密齿轮箱及其传动系统的设计方
