This paper takes Heinrich von Kleist ’s novel “The Marquise. O” as an example, first analyzes the communicative modes of “less is more” among the characters in the text: from unsatisfactory spoken to openly credible Written words, turn off the sound, shielding the body, but reached a consensus. Out of the plot, the omission of the unreliable narrator effectively stimulated the tension between the text and the reception. The medium is drawn from a portion of the source into an independent messenger of others, and the word that gradually fades to better convey the message defines the object as well as the object.
