在美国高校,实行多元文化教育已日趋制度化。当族裔文学作为多元文化主义的代表进入国内艺术类大学的英语课堂时,教师和学生对多元文化文学的教学依然存疑,并产生了一系列疑问:应该用教授英美文学的方式来教授多元文化吗?如何处理对其他文化的不安全感?如何处理文化冲突、陈旧观念等?文章着重探讨上述问题,指出通过文化反应(Cultual Response)的方法,可以促进学生积极参与到多元文化的交流中,促进跨文化传播,从而成为批判性的读者和作家。
In American universities, the implementation of multicultural education has become increasingly institutionalized.
