通过对西瓜品种间F_1群体性状的观察,可以预测亲本品种对后代性状的影响,增加我们在杂交育种中的预见性,从而为获得所期望的性状而正确选择亲本提供遗传依据。 我们从1972年开展西瓜常规育种以来,在引入原始材料自交保纯的基础上,先后做了杂交组合51个。四年来,对这些组合的F_1叶型、皮色、瓤口、瓜形、种子颜色及大小、果实发育期、含糖量进行取样,观察和研究,认识到F_1的一些遗传规律如下。
By observing the F_1 population traits in watermelon cultivars, we can predict the effect of the parental varieties on the traits of offspring and increase our predictability in cross breeding so as to provide the genetic basis for the correct selection of the parents in order to obtain the desired traits. Since we carried out the routine breeding of watermelon in 1972, we have made 51 hybrid combinations successively, based on the introduction of self-preservation of raw materials. In the past four years, the sampling, observation and research on F 1 leaf type, skin color, mouth size, melon shape, seed color and size, fruit development period and sugar content of these combinations have been carried out. Some genetic laws of F_1 are recognized as follows.
