前人研究植物根系多从事于根系的形态、分布、类型和功能,尚未见到国内文献记载研究树木根系固结力。泥石流研究中研究森林与泥石流形成关系和研究森林在泥石流治理中的作用,亦多是从森林水文学角度去研究,也就是研究林木土地上部分的作用,而多数忽略了地下部分(根系)与土体之间的力的关系——即固结力,这种“力”,有利于土体稳定,防止坡地重力侵蚀,从而减少泥石流固体物补给,因此森林植被也起到防治泥石流的作用。本文介绍笔者自1980年以来从事森林植被与泥石流形成关系和生物防治泥石流研究,利用研究
