渠道水的有效利用系数为:在水位稳定的请况下,下一级各条渠道同时在本渠道取走的流量总和(∑Q 下一级或称净流量)与本渠首引入流量(Q 毛)之比:η渠=(∑Q_(下一级))/(Q 毛)=(Q_毛-Q_损)/(Q毛)=(Q_净)/(Q_毛)渠系水有效利用系数,是在水位稳定情况下,由灌区末级渠道流入田间的流量(∑Q_田)与渠首从水原引入的毛流量(Q_首)的比值:
