随着数控加工在机械制造业中的广泛应用,数控操作者的大量培训便成为迫切的问题。在传统的操作培训中,数控编程和操作的有效培训必须在实际机床上进行,这既占用了设备加工时间,又具有风险,培训中的误操作经常会导致昂贵设备的损坏。随着计算技术的发展,尤其是虚拟现实技术和理念的发展,产生了可以模拟实际设备加工环境及其工作状态的计算机仿真培训系统。它用计算机仿真培训系统进行培训,不仅可迅速提高操作者的素质,而且安全可靠、费用低。这种数控仿真系统安全、经济实用,即能减轻设备和场地,而且还可以让教师在繁重的教学活动中得到释放,能够集中精力帮助学生分析、解决实际的问题,从而了保证了教学质量使教学效果得到了明显的提高。
