Bodmodsstadir geothermal field is one of the low-temperature geothermal fields in southern Iceland. Since 1974, 10 drilling wells have been completed. Based on temperature logging, well pressure and water level measurement and some geophysical and physical data research, this article establishes its conceptual model. In order to further establish the natural state model of the geothermal field, the steady-state and unsteady temperature field simulations were carried out. By assuming a dominant fault predominantly to the northwest, simulated ground temperature agrees well with observed ground temperature. Unsteady simulations also show that quasi-steady state (natural state) can be achieved in 5000 a geothermal systems like this. Further by solving the mass and energy transfer equations, it shows that the geothermal field has a deep recharge of 10.0 L / s and the deep recharge channel (fracture) has a permeability of 0.8 Darcy. The established natural state model can be used for the evaluation and development of this geothermal field.
