海面上的阵风会引起高低不一、长短不等的杂乱海浪。经典流体力学的观点和结论已不能描述这种现象。数十年来,一直把杂乱海浪看作是随机场(过程)而加以研究,并导出海浪能谱的概念。使用关于海浪能谱的一系列研究成果,已能较充分地反映海面短波环境特征,提供航空、航海和海洋开发利用所需的环境条件。计算机的普遍使用,按已知的这个环境条件在室内复演海浪已成为现实,进而可以模拟海浪对海面物体的影响。
Gusts on the surface of the sea can cause uneven waves of varying lengths. The classical hydrodynamics point of view and conclusions can no longer describe this phenomenon. For decades, the study of cluttered waves as a random field (process) has been studied and the concept of wave power spectrum derived. Using a series of studies on the energy spectrum of the ocean wave, it has been able to more fully reflect the characteristics of the shortwave environment on the sea surface and provide the environmental conditions required for the development, utilization and utilization of aviation, navigation and the oceans. The widespread use of computers has made it a reality to replicate waves indoors in the known environmental conditions, which in turn can simulate the effects of waves on sea objects.
