本文通过对蕃茄主要性状遗传相关及通径分析指出:单株结果数与单株产量的关系最密切,且直接作用亦大(rg=0.5874,直接通径系数=1.4203);早期产量通过单株结果数对单株产量的间接作用也很大(间接通径系数=0.8720);而单果重、株高对单株产量的直接作用则较小(直接通径系数分别为0.1398,0.1583)。因此,作者认为,在蕃茄丰产性育种中,主要根据单株结果数多少进行选择,同时也要考虑果实大小适当。此外,本文还对蕃茄早熟性相关进行了分析,结果表明:前期产量与开花期早晚、果实变色期长短有明显的负相关(r=-0.756,r=-0.946),而与果实发育期呈正相关(r=0.424)。
