玄武湖公园位于南京市城北,水面5,000亩,湖面宽阔,风景秀丽,水质肥沃,天然饵料资源丰富,年产成鱼近一百万斤,平均亩产约200斤。为了进一步提高科学养鱼水平,挖掘生产潜力,提高鱼产量,1978年7月在玄武湖中开展网箱培育大规格鱼种的初步试验。在不投饵,不施肥的情况下,经70～130天的培育,在327.5平方米的网箱中共培育出大规格鲢、鳙鱼种58,686尾、3,266.8斤,达到了予想的要求。
Xuanwu Lake Park is located in the north of the city of Nanjing. It has a surface area of 5,000 mu and a broad lake with beautiful scenery and fertile water. The natural resources of the fish are rich. With an annual production capacity of nearly one million jin of fish and an average yield of about 200 kg per mu. In order to further raise the scientific level of fish farming, tap the potential of production and increase fish production, a preliminary trial of cage cultivation of large-sized fish species was conducted in Xuanwu in July 1978. Under the condition of no feeding and no fertilization, a total of 58,686 large-sized silver carp and bighead carp species of 3,266.8 kg were bred in 327.5 square meters of cage after 70-130 days of cultivation, reaching the desired requirement.
