Objective To investigate the application and clinical significance of hyperbaric oxygen in treating severe traumatic brain injury. Methods 100 cases of severe traumatic brain injury were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated by conventional therapy. The observation group was treated with hyperbaric oxygen on the basis of routine treatment. Observation of two groups treatment effect. Results The ADL score was (69.24 ± 2.54) and the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score was (11.84 ± 2.98) points higher than that of the control group (52.36 ± 1.37) and (8.13 ± 1.23) points (P <0.05). The total effective rate of observer patients (96.00%) was higher than that of the control group (64.00%) (P <0.05). Conclusion Hyperbaric oxygen treatment of patients with severe traumatic brain injury has a significant effect and is worth promoting.
