This paper discusses the Chinese metaphor for the rise of American Chinese writing in the 1960s and 1970s and traces and analyzes the reproduction of the images of Guan Gong and Mulan in contemporary Chinese American literature. “The image given to ancestor worship has become a symbol of the” heroes “and” fathers “in the minds of Chinese. On the basis of the transposition of the deep semantic structure of the original story of Hua Mulan, the writer Wang Tingting created a female Chinese American heroine with distinct feminist consciousness and ethnic consciousness. ”Guan Gong“ and ”Mulan" --- the heroic narrative of Chinese traditional culture --- provided the spiritual inspiration for the Chinese-American writers to rewrite Chinese history, counterattack the distorted Chinese image in the mainstream discourse and create a new Chinese image Strength and writing resources.
