Trace elements have been shown to affect the function of endocrine glands, the activity of target glands, and the biological role of hormones. Zinc, copper, calcium and magnesium are essential trace elements for the human body, and their changes are related to abnormal thyroid function. Our hospital with atomic absorption spectrometry 71 cases of hyperthyroidism (hyperthyroidism), 25 cases of hypothyroidism (hypothyroidism) and 84 healthy people serum zinc, copper, calcium and magnesium determination, are reported below. Research objects and methods First, research objects 1. Hyperthyroidism group: 71 cases of male 15 cases, 56 females; aged 18 to 66 years, mean 33 years; of which 29 cases were mild, moderate in 36 cases, severe in 6 cases. The vast majority of cases have received irregular treatment, only 6 cases of recent onset has not yet been treated. 3 cases of nodular toxic goiter, the rest were toxic diffuse goiter.
