Human parvovirus B19 (B19 virus) was discovered incidentally by Cossart et al in screening blood donors’ serum hepatitis B virus antigens in 1975. Since the virus was detected in the blood donor label B row 19, so named B19 virus. Biological characteristics of a human parvovirus B19 B19 virus genus Parvoviridae, is the smallest and most simple structure of the DNA virus in animal viruses. Diameter of 20 ~ 30nm
