工业革命之后所产生的机械美学文明,包括了六个控制人们行为的相关原则,包括标准化、专门化、同步化、集中化、极大化与集权化,这些原则的产生与“机械”介入人类生活层面的程度有极大的关系;事实上,二十世纪人类文明早已脱离不了机械文化的种种影响,而这些原则更强烈地操纵着人类生活的每一方面,从生产、消费、性、运动、以至于工作和战争,在建筑形式、机械美学的理论机能塑造上,也扮演十分重要的角色。本文针对这六项原则,以及其对建筑的影响加以探讨。
