In this experiment, the pathological model of myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury was reproduced in 24 hybrid dogs. The effect of Tongmailing on hemodynamics and cardiac function was observed by comparing with normal saline and salvia miltiorrhiza. The results showed that the cardiac output (CO), cardiac index (CI), heart rate index (SI), Tongmailing low-dose group (TM1G), Tongmailing high-dose group (TM2G) and Danshen control group (DSG), The left ventricular peak pressure (LVSP) and the maximum rate of left ventricular pressure (±dp/dtmsx) were significantly higher than that of the saline control group (NSG). This experiment proves that Tongmailing is mainly used to protect the myocardial contraction and contraction function to improve the hemodynamic index and prevent the occurrence of cardiac insufficiency during ischemia and reperfusion.
