Tsinghua University, together with the Russian All-Russian Tire Design Institute and the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, conducted a study on the electronic radiation of recycled butyl rubber. Based on the success of the laboratory and small batch workshop experiments, it is proposed to establish a butyl reclaimed rubber plant in the Beihai, Guangxi using electronic radiation method, which is a demonstration plant with an annual output of 4,000 tons. It is planned to construct a butyl reclaimed rubber waterproof coil plant with an annual output of 250,000 square meters.
